It is written in the book of Ephesians, verse 1:1-11 – It was He who gave some to be apostles, some to be prophets, some to be evangelists and some to be pastors and teachers, to prepare God’s people for works of service so that the body of Christ may be built up.

The marketing ministry is a crucial component of the growth of the church. Most churches have an event; they develop flyers and hand them out to each ministry department. They should look at their events as an outreach function to draw the unbelievers. The role of each ministry is to reach the unbeliever so that the church can minister to them. If you look closely at all ministries, they are evangelistic arms of the body of Christ – or the church.
